Adel Tawfik, Managing Executive Director, conducted a comprehensive field visit to inspect the Anba Bola Monastery Flood Protection Project, one of the oldest and most significant historical monasteries in Egypt, as part of ongoing efforts to monitor progress and ensure effective project implementation.

During the visit, Eng. Adel Tawfik reviewed implementation rates across all sites, noting significant progress despite challenging natural and climatic conditions.
An expanded meeting was held at the project site management office, attended by Anba Botrus, the project supervision and follow-up representative, along with company engineers and technicians. Discussions addressed execution progress and key challenges, particularly financial issues related to pending payments.
Eng. Adel Tawfik expressed his satisfaction with the progress achieved and reaffirmed the company’s determination to continue work without interruption, given the project’s exceptional religious, historical, and national importance.
For his part, Anba Botrus praised the company’s commitment and professional performance, emphasizing the strong coordination between the company’s team and the monastery’s administration, stating:

Meanwhile, Eng. Haitham Talaat, Project General Manager, confirmed the team’s readiness to confront difficult climatic and geographical challenges, supported by constructive cooperation from the monastery’s administration, led by His Grace Anba Daniel. He reaffirmed the commitment to continue working tirelessly until the project is completed to the highest standards.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Grace Anba Daniel expressed deep appreciation for the company’s efforts, affirming full confidence that the project will become a model for flood protection projects at historical sites.
